Chelsea is board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner born and raised in Middle Tennessee. She obtained her BSN at Middle Tennessee State University. While working in medical-surgical and pediatric nursing at the bedside, she discovered a passion for caring for adults, adolescents, and children with mental health difficulties. This led Chelsea to work in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric facilities. Working with Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners and Psychiatrists inspired her to pursue her MSN at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Her experience as a PMHNP includes work in community mental health and integrative health clinics. She enjoys treating and educating clients that feel unheard and unseen. Her special interests include women's mental health across the lifespan and trauma informed care.
